One of southern Ontario's most avid Massey-Harris enthusiasts is Ron "Doc" Thomson of Greenbank. Doc is not only a descendant of Scarborough's earliest pioneers -- the Annis and Thomson families -- but he is also a great-great grandson of Robert McCowan and Jane Underwood of Scarboro Heights.

At the first Massey Field Day at Doc's Norbrae farm, over 40 Massey, Massey Harris and Massey Ferguson tractors and implements were assembled -- not quite all of them Doc's! And he put a few of them to work -- ploughing, disking, cutting wood, binding sheaves of grain.

Give the family a "rural experience" to remember! But call Doc first if you've recently returned from overseas.

Your note on Massey Day is intriguing.  Every once in a while, I see a Massey-Ferguson at work here in Florida. It always gives me a thrill when I do.
